7:30am, Monday, May 3 - Rod Porter's crew showed up and got to work with jack hammers! After a few minutes they had stopped to curse the fact that the cement floor was 8" thick and laced with LOTS of rebar. This job was going to be even harder than expected.

They had most of the concrete gone by noon. The mini-bulldozer helped to carry away the waste and then dig the dirt. The plans require 18" deep for the crawl space.
